Second meeting for the ICOLMA research project in São Paulo, Brazil (2024)
The ongoing consortium research on the impact of Covid 19 pandemic on mobility and accessibility of marginalized groups (ICOLMA) and Planning within Global Comparison (PROPASP) convened in São Paulo for a strategic workshop from 26th to 27th February 2024.

The gathering was crucial in fulfilling the milestones for the research that is led by TU Dortmund in collaboration with Federal University of ABC, São Paulo, University of Cape Town and the University of Western Cape. TU Dortmund was represented by Nthoki D. Nyamai from IPS and Tanja Schnittfinke from IRPUD. Following two days of rigorous deliberations, the team developed a framework for comparative analysis of the research which includes a comprehensive methodological approach for qualitative and quantitative research.

The team will continue to engage in follow-up workshops throughout the year both digitally and in presence.
