INTERPART
The name of the INTERPART research project stands for „Intercultural Spaces for Participation“. For three years, researchers from science, administration, consulting and participation practice dealt with the question about how spaces for participation and dialogue in urban planning and development can be designed interculturally and what role digitalized services might play. The project used the real-world-lab approach as a research framework, with two neighborhoods in the cities of Berlin and Wiesbaden serving as case studies.
INTERPART was funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in the funding line „Migration and Social Change“ from 2018 to 2021. At the Faculty of Spatial Planning, the research groups SOZ and IPS were involved. The final publication was published as an opne-access eBook by Jovis-Verlag.
