A Bachelor's or Master's thesis marks the final step in your studies and requires both commitment and comprehensive information on the chosen topic. If you would like to write your thesis under the supervision of the IPS, the topics of previous theses can help you to find a suitable topic, refine it or re-evaluate it.

We supervise theses (in German and English) of Bachelor and Master students interested in urban change, planning and governance as well as mobility, infrastructure and housing. The geographical focus of the thesis is open, but we are particularly interested in theses that deal with places and topics from the Global South.
